One of the things I enjoy about not just being a club member but also being a customer of yours in general: I always feel that communication, be it by email, phone message or in person, is to me personally and not just generic.
Also I just enjoy knowing I have something new to try every month. It gives me the freedom to buy my favourites from time to time without stressing that I am only buying within a few varieties, as I know there is something I haven't gotten to trying right around the corner.
Getting the tasting notes and pairing suggestions is a great addition as it gives great ideas (and makes me seem more knowledgeable to my friends).

Why We Created The Mead Club
From the beginning, we planned to create an exclusive Club built around a special 750ml bottle, selected by us and available only to members.
We called it the Collector Club.
Not long after, we became excited about exploring other ways a Club could benefit more of our customers. We wanted to offer flexibility and choice alongside the exclusivity of the Collector Club.
That led us to create two more ways to join: the Curator Club, for those who prefer to choose their own Mead, and the Host Club, for those who like to keep more on hand to enjoy and share.
Together, the three Clubs offer different ways to discover and enjoy Thistle Meadery, with member benefits included along the way.

We absolutely enjoy the 750ml releases; though it doesn't seem to last much longer than the 500ml bottles, haha. The exclusive mead flavours are also a nice bonus, as well as the tasting pairings. This is a club that's definitely worth being part of!

What is the difference between the three clubs?
The Collector Club is designed for discovery, with an exclusive 750ml Mead selected by us each month.
The Curator Club gives you the flexibility to choose three of our classic size 500ml bottles and decide how often you receive them.
The Host Club is for those who like to keep the Mead cupboard well stocked, with six 500ml bottles chosen by you and flexible delivery frequency.
Can I choose the Mead in my Club order?
Curator and Host Club members can choose their own Mead from the available 500ml range or leave the decision to us.
Collector Club bottles are selected by us and include comprehensive flavour details, pairing and recipe ideas. Members can always add to their monthly delivery from the 500ml range at member prices.
Can I skip a Club order?
Of course. We understand that life happens and sometimes the Mead cupboard is already well stocked. You can skip an upcoming Club order without losing your membership.
Can I place a hold on my membership or cancel it entirely?
Absolutely. We want you to stay because you enjoy being part of the Club, not because you are locked into it. You can easily place a hold on your membership or cancel online before your next Club order is processed.
Do I need to stay for a minimum term?
No. There is no minimum membership term.
Do members receive discounts?
Yes. Club members receive exclusive member pricing across our classic Mead range, along with additional benefits based on their chosen Club.

Can I change how often I receive my Mead?
Curator Club members can choose to receive their Mead every 1 or 2 months. Host Club members can choose every 2 or 3 months. The Collector Club is a monthly membership.
Can I collect my Club order?
Yes. You can choose to collect your order directly from Thistle Meadery or any of the markets we attend or have it delivered.
When will I be charged?
You will be notified before your Club order is processed, giving you time to review your details and make any available changes.
What happens if my payment does not go through?
It's all good. We will let you know so you can update your payment details and ensure your Mead still finds its way to you.
Is shipping included in the Club price?
Shipping is not included in the advertised Club price. The cost is calculated based on weight and your delivery address, and added at checkout, so you will see the full amount before confirming your membership.
You can also choose to collect your Club order from Thistle Meadery or any of our markets at no additional cost.
I really enjoy getting it every month, it’s a good way to stock up on my favourites. I’ve given one as a gift too. And being able to collect a couple to share is lovely. Members prices are great too, love being able to treat myself to my favourite more often.
I also love the cards, I collect them in a little box and look at them for ideas for snacks and treats to have with my mead too.
